IN SEARCH OF THE PERFECT IMAGE
Commercial photography is omnipresent. Our urban surroundings and printed publications are full of attractive and suggestive pictures. They all have something in common: they are near perfection.
Some of those images, despite their apparent realism, were not created using a camera; they were done using a computer. The professionals of contemporary commercial images must know and fully master all technical and expressive resources in order to carve a place for themselves in a very competitive market.
At Grisart International School of Photography, we have developed a Complete Program of Technical Photography to help photographers master these skills and insure this knowledge is passed on. It comprises six interrelated lines of study: Lighting, Post-Production, Multimedia Projects Course, InDesign Layout, Management and Business Legislation, Planning and Promotion of Work.
The combination of photography related subjects and others related to management and the promotion of work gives our ambitious students a solid training and the assurance to enter the professional world with confidence.
Alternative combinations of lines of study available (Hybrid Itineraries). Ask for more information at info@grisart.com
The students will be given the opportunity to choose the language in which they will attend this course: either English or Spanish. Most of the activities extra classes (guided visits to exhibitions and conferences) will be in Spanish.
1- LIGHTING PROGRAM (ADVERTISING, PORTRAIT AND FASHION)
If controlling light is a decisive aspect of taking a photograph, it is even more important in the case of advertising, portrait and fashion photography.
Understanding the expressive and creative power of lighting endows photographers with the ability to conform to the conditions of each assignment with guaranteed success.
This course is structured in such a way as to allow the future professional to acquire essential knowledge in studio lighting techniques, which can later be applied to advertising, fashion,
portrait, science and experimental photography.
In order to achieve this goal, the course is designed to encourage student participation, so all practical classes are planned as real working situations. Students are, therefore, shooting in exteriors, as well as in special studios, with the presence of art directors, stylists and models, which are also involved.
Students have, at their disposal, shooting sets and digital editing rooms for production and post-production of their works, helping them gain the experience and confidence necessary to insert themselves in the professional world.
