Oviedo, 1980

First approached photography in Oviedo. Then he moved to Barcelona to continue his photography studies at Grisart school. There he worked as photography assistant at the Paco Arará’s photographic studio, after he colaborated with Xavi Carreras and Dani Caño in Haut Atelier printing studio and finaly established himself as freelance photographer.

During that time he participates in photography workshops, especialy remarkable is the one taught by Anders Petersen (Barcelona, autumn 2007). Others teachers in those workshops were Jim Goldberg, Humberto Rivas and Michael Ackerman.

In 2009 he was awarded with Clic’09 Fotoperiodisme Jove fellowship to work in a project about Zona Franca neighborhood in Barcelona.

He moves to Madrid at 2012 to study the Fotolibro course at the school Blank Paper. After winning an honourable metion in the school’s fellowship he could study the Master Course the following year.

In 2014 he was awarded with the Fotopres boursery sponsored by La Caixa to develop a personal project about his mother.

His works have been exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid and various european festivals
